TALLADEGA COUNTY, Ala. — Travis Bowen finished the BOSS Moves curriculum on a Thursday. By Saturday, he had a business card.

"I went through the whole thing," Bowen, 38, said. "Every module. And I thought: churches need this. Pastors don't know how to think about money biblically. Not really. I can help with that."

Bowen, who spent eleven years as an independent insurance adjuster before a rate restructuring reduced his workload, said the course — a six-module business and prosperity framework built around Old Testament economic principles — "changed the way I see everything." He said he now understands that "wealth is just stored value, and the church has been leaving value on the table for generations."

He launched Kingdom Leverage Consulting the following week. He is currently accepting church and ministry clients. His introductory rate is $2,500 per session.

"That's not a lot when you understand what you're getting," Bowen said. "You're getting a strategic clarity call with someone who has studied the kingdom economy."

When asked how long he had studied the kingdom economy, Bowen said "intensively, for about six weeks." He added that the length of study was less important than the depth.

He has delivered two complimentary sessions to date, both to small group leaders at his home church, Grace Harvest Fellowship in Talladega. One leader said the session was "interesting." The other said it "raised some questions." Neither could be reached for follow-up.

Bowen said he is working on a book. The title is Unlocked: A Kingdom Blueprint for Financial Dominion. He said it would be "four to six months, depending on how the consulting scales up."

He was asked whether he had any financial credentials beyond the course completion. He said he had passed his state insurance licensing exam in 2015. He said that was "more financial than most pastors."
