Jacksonville State University Announces Yung Gravy as 2026 Spring Concert Headliner

JACKSONVILLE, Ala. — Jacksonville State University has announced that Yung Gravy will headline its 2026 Spring Concert, scheduled for April 18 at Pete Mathews Coliseum. The announcement was made by the university's Student Government Association following a selection process that involved students.

Yung Gravy is an artist. He is from Rochester, Minnesota. He has released music, which has been streamed. He is 27. He goes by Yung Gravy professionally. His given name is Matthew Raymond Hauri.

"The student body is really excited," said SGA President Marcus Tillman. "He was one of the top requests we received."

Tillman said the selection committee reviewed several candidates before selecting Yung Gravy. The committee was composed of students. The process concluded with Yung Gravy.

Jacksonville State University was founded in 1883 and has an enrollment of approximately 9,000 students. It fields a marching band, the Marching Southerners, which has performed at the Rose Parade and is considered one of the premier college marching bands in the nation. The Marching Southerners are not scheduled to perform at the Spring Concert.

Pete Mathews Coliseum seats 5,500. Tickets for the Spring Concert are available through the JSU box office and range from $15 to $35 for students. General admission tickets are also available. Yung Gravy has not previously performed in Jacksonville. He is aware of the engagement.
